Obituary for Rosa Mae Willoughby

Obituary for Rosa Mae Willoughby
February 5, 1947 December 18, 2020

December 18, 2021 Rosa Mae entered the Upper Room hearing the loving words of her younger sister dancing in her ear; while her firstborn held her hand.

Charlie Lee and Elizabeth taught her to work hard, love deeply and play fair. Her older brothers taught her to defend her person and her loved ones. Her younger siblings taught her to relax, laugh and step out on faith.

Alton Willoughby taught her to value keeping your mind calm while weighing the circumstances competing for an immediate reaction to new places or people.

She is survived by Alton Willoughby, their son Christopher Willoughby and their Grandson DeonTray. Her younger sister Gloris and her daughter Antonia. Her younger brother Elijah 'Charles' and his children and grandchildren. Her older brothers' children and grandchildren. Her son Charles Cordell III and his children and grandchild Rory. Her daughter Lea Flemming-King, her husband Joseph King, their daughters and their son Holden Daniel. Her firstborn Valarie Blanchard and Blue; Rosa's last pet

The Highlands Funeral Home 505 E. Williams St, were entrusted in handling the arrangements.
