Obituary for Diana Marie Rodriguez

In Loving Memory of Diana M. Rodriguez
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved daughter, Diana M.
Rodriguez, on Tuesday, October 24th, at the age of 48. She left this world surrounded by the love of her
family, a testament to the warmth she brought into our lives.
Diana was born on April 15th, 1975, at Saint Mary's Hospital in Apple Valley, CA, a cherished daughter of
Betty and Ephriam Rodriguez. She is survived by her daughter, Genesis Crank, and her husband, Austin
Crank. Diana will be deeply missed by her mother, Betty, father, Ephriam, (parents, Sonny and Julie
Marquez) sister, Tricia, and brothers, Valentine (Jaime), Richard (Rommie), and Danny (Karina). All of
whom were touched by her presence.
She was preceded in death by her beloved Nana, (Lena Ulibarri), Grandpa (Dennis Ulibarri), Uncles,
Melcom and Kenneth Ulibarri. Grandparents (Val and Peggy Marquez), Aunts, Barbara, Nancy, Sherri
and Cindy.

Diana's journey was marked by her dedication to education and passion for barbering. She earned her
Associates of Science Degree at BCC and went on to acquire her Cosmetology and Barbering license,
practicing her craft for 25 years. Diana was renowned for her strength, unwavering faith, love of family,
and a no-nonsense personality that left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Her daughter, Genesis, was her pride and joy, and Diana found immense happiness in being a devoted
mother. Alongside her family, she was also a proud owner of five dogs - Doyer, Philly, Boxer, Cheech,
and Blazer - who brought her immeasurable joy.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Diana embraced a variety of interests. She enjoyed the art of
crocheting, nurturing flowers and succulents, gardening, and fearlessly tackling new projects such as
baking (cake pops) and creating balloon bouquets. Her adventurous spirit extended to her love of travel,
with memorable journeys to destinations like Cancun, Jamaica, New York, and Philadelphia. Diana
cherished her visits to Delaware, exploring local attractions with her cousin, Christina.

In her final days, Diana expressed a desire to embark on a road trip to Philadelphia, a testament to her
zest for life and the importance of cherished moments with loved ones.

Diana will be deeply missed, but her spirit and the impact she had on those around her will live on in our
hearts forever.

A celebration of Diana's life will be held on December 21, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Hi-Desert Church of
Christ, 13460 Apple Valley Rd, Apple Valley 92308. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations
be made to the Diana Rodriguez Memorial Scholarship Fund
