Obituary for Clarence Arthur Hunt

Clarence A. Hunt Hunt & Associates 1932-2022

On 17, March 1932, 90 years ago, there was a twin boy that would come into this world and change it! His gifts of love, compassion and desire to succeed were born. His name is Clarence A. Hunt. He took this world by a storm and had an amazing journey.

First let’s go to the beginning: His parents owned a dairy farm called Tip Top Dairy. Clarence was their delivery milk man. Through the years our father spoke of being a milk man. There was many times that he fondly remembered his job, and how much he enjoyed it.

While in Barstow California, he met our mom Ann (63 years married, she passed away 8/03/2021) and they fell in love and got married. This was quite a union filled with lots of promises and dreams. Our grandfather sold the dairy business and started a real estate company Hunt & Associates Realtor. Clarence joined his father and got his broker license. Our family was still growing during this time, and he worked the real estate business until Grandpa Hunt passed away. Then one spark a vision of the future and one family trip was the next exciting start of a new journey.

Fast forward to present day: So HOW did our parents get to Avalon California? It took one family trip to Avalon to get the dream started. Our mom loved Catalina. She wanted to move there once the children graduated from high school. And that is what happened. Our father made this dream come alive. Once in Avalon they bought the Pacific Isle apartments and the rest is history.

Clarence built a successful real estate business/property management company for over 38 years. His motto
Clarence Hunt is preceded in death by his wife Ann, brother Ralph and is survived by his twin sister Claramae. He was very proud of his entire family. The children: Deborah, Connie, Craig, Jolene, Mary and Allison. The grandchildren: Tepra, Shaun, Craig II, Ryan, Bryan, Aubrey, Aaron, Nickolas, Hannah, Stevie and Tyler. The great grandchildren: Lyla, Rylyn, Greyson, Catalina, Winnie, Colton and soon to born, Aaron Frederick. Then there are the in-laws: Carl, Anna, Fred, Misty, Connor and Erika.

A graveside service for Mr. Hunt will be 1:30pm June 8, 2022 at Mountain View Memorial Park , 37067 Irwin Rd., Barstow CA.
