Felix lived a life filled with laughter and so much love. He taught us all empathy, the value of family, and how to see the beauty in the little things in life.

He grew up in San Luis Rio Colorado Sonora, where he learned how to do everything from farming to playing music. As an adult, he began his family and did everything in his power to support his children. In 1986, Felix came to California and started his own band in Barstow. He loved to make everyone laugh and dance. He remarried and brought his children to Barstow with him. He enjoyed working on the farm, travelling to San Luis to make toy drops during Christmas, playing cards with his sons weekly, visiting with his great-grandchildren and of course, anything that had to do with music! As he grew sicker, he spent more time at home but that never took the smile off his face. Though he’s no longer with us, we should be happy that we were allowed this much time with him on Earth and know that when it’s our turn to return home, he’ll be waiting for us with a smile and a warm embrace. Until we meet again.
