Gloria Jean Rosse 81 has gone to be with our Lord September 12, 2022

Gloria was born September 8, 1941 in Brentwood, N.H. to parents Harold and Madeline Johnson. She
was the youngest of four children.

At age 6, her family moved to San Bernardino, CA In the summer her family would camp at Blue Jay
CA, where she rode horses and ice skated. She met her husband, David Rosse, at Blue Jay Ice Rink.
They married in 1959 and had two children, Jay and Alison.

Gloria and David moved to Barstow in 1966 where she lovingly raised their children.
She was an active member of Trinity Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School, Youth Group and
VBS. Her passion was singing. She sang in choir, duets and solos. Everyone looked forward to her
singing

In addition to her parents, Gloria was predeceased by her sisters, Esther Holt and Karlene Russell.
She is survived by her husband, David Rosse of 63 years, Son Jay Rosse (Sheryl)of Aztec NM,
Daughter Alison Rosse-Crofoot (Scott) of Chesterfield, VA

Four Grandchildren: Marc Llafet, Ellyse Crofoot-Walters (Dave), Corey Crofoot (Yunona)
Ian Rosse (Georgette) One Great Grand-Daughter Audrey Jean Walters, Brother Richard Smith
(Christine) of Winchester,VA and a number of Nieces and Nephews.

Memorial Service will be held at First Baptist Church Barstow CA 1320 Barstow Road on
at 6 pm on September 22, with Pastor Stephen Reynolds and Pastor Jerry Green Officiating.
