Loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother,
and friend.

Lena E. Ulibarri of Barstow, passed away on 10/20/20 in
her home surrounded by her loving family.
Viewing and visitation will be held at Highlands Funeral
Home,505 E. Williams St., Barstow, Ca., from 7pm -
8pm, followed by Rosary, 8pm -9pm. on Wednesday
October 28, 2020. Private viewing for family members
from 6pm -7pm.

Funeral service will be held at 9:00 am at Mt. Saint
Joseph's Catholic Church, 505 E. Mountain View St.
Barstow, October 29, 2020. Burial will follow the
funeral at Mountain View Memorial Park.

Lena Ulibarri was born in Abo, New Mexico to Luis and
Josefita Esquibel on April 26,1930 where she
experienced wonderful childhood memories. At the age
of 18, she married Dennis Ulibarri of Bosque, New
Mexico and began her new chapter in life

Lena was a homemaker throughout her life. She made
her house a loving home for her 7 children and
successfully raised them to be outstanding and kind.
She loved to crochet blankets for her grandchildren and
doilies for her daughters, daughters-in-law and her
friends. Her happy place was shopping and spending
time with family.

Lena is survived by sons, Pete Ulibarri (Gloria), Marty
Ulibarri (Nilda), Kenneth Ulibarri, Dennis Jr. Ulibarri,
(Deborah), and daughters, Theresa Ulibarri, Betty
Rodriguez (Ephriam), and brother, Manuel Esquibel.
22 Grandchildren, 50 Great-Grandchildren and many
nieces and nephews.

Lena is preceded in death by husband, Dennis Ulibarri,
son, Melcom Ulibarri, father, Luis Esquibel, mother,
Josefita Esquibel, sisters, Manuelita Padilla, Leo Romero,
Trinnie Griego, Lizzie Trujillo, Christina Luna, brother,
Abran Esquibel, and daughter-in-law, Cindy Ulibarri.

The family wishes to thank Green Valley Hospice for
helping us through our mother's last days and mom's
caretakers throughout the years, Maria Gutierrez, Elfida
Aguilar and Virginia Wade.
