Devoted Wife, Cherished Mother, Grandmother & Great Grandmother! Our Forever Friend!



Maria Johanna Gregg, 89, passed away during the early evening hours of December 23, 2021 in her home of 56 years…

She was a cherished & loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother! There was nothing she would not do for her family or friends.

Maria raised a family of four boys, twelve grand kids and countless neighbor’s kids, Cub scouts, Boy scouts, Jr. Bowlers and son’s friends! She was never at a loss for kid words, gifts or smiles for everyone… We find comfort in knowing that our truly remarkable parents have been reunited in heaven! She only thought of others and even on the day she went to be with the lord she said; “I Don’t want be a bother, I’ll be fine, I’m okay!”

There was never a time in my brothers or my life when my mom wasn’t there for us! She was always willing to love, support, nurture, protect and help every member of her family and friends! She always watched over us, her heart sank when we were upset, she would have given us her last dollar (and did countless times), she always gave us hope and inspired us, and I know we could NEVER disappoint her! My mom loved incandescently unconditionally!

To say she was the best mom EVER or the most AMAZING woman to ever walk the earth, still falls short of Maria Gregg and what she has done in her life time and the impact she has made on all of us!

With a great sense of humor and undying desire to help everyone, she will be greatly missed! I’m sure at this point she is helping God organize and inspire others in heaven with a smile and laugh that was completely infectious and made you have a better day by just being around her!
