Marie Diane Blackford (57)



Born on September 22, 1962



Gained her Wings on July 25, 2020.



Marie was diagnosed with Diabetes at the young age of 6. Doctors then diagnosed her to be one of the severest cases they had seen and did not expect her to make it to her 25th Birthday. She proved them wrong she lived to be 57, she had a lot of great years, many Family Memories with her Children and Grand Children that we will all Cherish. Though the last few had been a little difficult she continued to fight like she always did.



Marie is Survived by her Parents: Donald and Yvonne Lipking, Lifelong Residents of Barstow.



Husband Alvin L Blackford



Children: Leann Marro (Aaron), Katherine Hart Blackford, Joe Blackford, Mylie Blackford, Chase Blackford



Grandchildren: Michael Marro Martin, Christopher Lowe, Jaimelynn Marro, Mason Blackford and Jaxson Blackford.



Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Highlands Funeral Home Barstow and a Private Graveside Service will be held on August 17th, 2020 at Mountain View Memorial Park, 37067 Irwin Rd Barstow.



Those attending the graveside service will be required to observe the Social Distancing and masks policies. Celebration of Life for Marie to follow immediately after at the home of Alvin & the Children.
