Michael Rochelle Miller Sr., was born on February 15, 1955 to McCoy Miller Jr. and Odessa Miller in Los Angeles, California and raised in Pacoima, California.

He was well known for being a car and motorcycle enthusiast. He built his first low rider car in his parent’s garage at the young age of 12 which transitioned him to become the neighborhood mechanic. He graduated from San Fernando High School in 1972.

In 1972, with his parent’s signing permission, at the age of 17 he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. During his 6 year enlistment he traveled to Okinawa Japan and served one tour in Vietnam. He was Honorably Discharged in 1978.

After serving six years in the Corps, he earned his AA Degree from Pierce College. He then began his career in the automotive field until he retired from Northrop Grumman in 2015.

Michael was an active member of the Fugitives M.C. of San Fernando Valley for over 35 years where he was known as California Slim.

In 1989, Michael moved his family to Barstow, California where he was given the nickname of Motorcycle Mike by the community of friends he built there.

Michael had a smile to light up any room and a humorous personality to go along with it.

On August 8, 2023 Michael went home to be with Our Father in Heaven.

He was preceded in death by his father McCoy Miller Jr., brother Odis Gentry, sisters Jacquelyn Miller and Gwendolyn Miller.

He leaves to mourn his mother Odessa Miller, wife of 37 years Yvonne Miller, sons Michael Miller Jr., Mark Miller Sr. (Margarita), Davon Miller (Marnee) and daughters Shavonne Parker, Leticia Miller, Dasia Miller, twenty grandchildren, one great grandson, an abundance of nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
