SARA J. FLORES (SALLY)
12/11/41 -3/23/22

Sara Jane Flores (Sally), age 80, of Barstow, CA passed away peacefully surrounded by many
family members on March 23, 2022.

She was born in Monterey Park, CA on December 11,1941

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Rudy Flores, and her two children,
Michele Fisher (Steve) of San Diego, CA and Monica McCall (Bill) of Barstow, CA. What gave
Sally the most pleasure was spending time with her grandchildren who affectionately called her
Gogs. She has six grandchildren, Mike (Maryuri), Billy, Lindsey, Connor, Jason and Travis. She
is also survived by her brother John Lamkin of Taos, NM.

Sally had a very diverse work career. She worked as a Secretary at the Marine Base, where she
met Rudy. She was a stay at home mom while her children were young. When she went back to
work she was a Teacher's Aide, but her last position as a Fire Inspector at the Marine Base was
probably her favorite. She loved spending time with her family, attending her grandchildren's
sporting events and going on cruises for vacation. Sally will always be remembered for her
giving nature, love of meeting new people and her devotion to her family.

A graveside service will be held at Mountain View Memorial Park, 37067 Irwin Road, Barstow, on April 11,, 2022 at 12:00 pm. A reception with the family will follow after the service..
