Sarah Elizabeth Ribera

Our cherished daughter, sister, aunt, niece and friend is now and forever in the arms of her creator.

Sarah’s light is left on this earth and will forever shine in the people she touched.

Sarah was a light in a dark world. Her task in life was to shine her precious light within some of the darkest of places. In doing so, Sarah’s light shined bright on the people she met. She always left them with a glimmer of her spirit.

There were times when her light would get swallowed up in that darkness, but it never went out. Thanks to so many of you who noticed her light going dim and with love, reached out your hand to pull her back.

Her family hopes that her precious, trusting, loving heart and childlike faith will encourage us all to acquire the same.

Sarah accepted everyone, no matter their social status. She helped anyone she could, even if she didn’t have much to give, she would give what she could.

We will all be changed by Sarah and her triumphs, which are many. We will also forever be changed by her sufferings.

Sarah told a story of absolute inner strength, courage and hope.
She will be greatly missed.

Sarah leaves behind her loving family; her father Adolfo Ribera, and step-mother Madra Ribera, Her mother Helen Ribera Ozuna and step-father Carlos Ozuna, her brothers Daniel, Paul, John and David Ribera and last but not least, her pet-daughter Minnie and 5 grand-puppies.

Funeral services for Sarah will be at 11 am Wednesday August 11th at the First Baptist Church , 1320 Barstow Rd. , with visitation from 10 am to 11am that day. The Highlands Funeral is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
