July 14th, 1938 - December 22nd, 2022
William "Bill" Bodnar passed away December 22nd, 2022 at his home in Barstow where he resided for 42 years. Bill was born in Ohio, and moved to Fontana with his parents John and Mary Bodnar. Bill was a truck driver for Lindy and then a mechanic for Yellow Freight Trucking where he retired in 2001.
Bill always had a love of cars; working on them or just admiring them at the car shows. He enjoyed collecting them and was always there when a friend needed a hand or expertise.
Bill is proceeded in death by his wife of 37 years Barbara Bodnar and her 3 children Lori, Doni and Danette, brother John Bodnar and parents John and Mary Bodnar.
Bill leaves behind his son William "Billy" Harding, daughter Jennie Weeks, grandson Joshua and step-grandchildren Michael, Scott, Felicia, Carlos, Tara, Savanah, Michael and George.
Graveside service for Bill will be at 1:00 pm, Monday January 9, at Mountain View Memorial Park, 37067 Irwin Road, in Barstow.
